Severna Park Middle School is at 450 Jumpers Hole Road. We are at 479. That is roughly a quarter mile, and it is the single most useful fact about our location for a family with a child in braces. Middle school is when most comprehensive treatment happens, and a middle-schooler in treatment needs adjustments every several weeks for a year or more. Being on the same street turns each of those visits into a short errand instead of an afternoon. Severna Park High School and the elementary schools that feed into the Severna Park cluster are all a short drive away as well.
We are also part of the ordinary geography of the town. The B&A Trail runs through Severna Park a few minutes from the office, the Severna Park Marketplace and Park Plaza are just down Ritchie Highway, and Dr. Wright’s family lives one town over in Millersville. He has treated Severna Park families for more than two decades.
Jumpers Hole Road runs between Ritchie Highway and the Benfield Road corridor, so most families reach us from one of two directions.
Coming from Ritchie Highway (MD-2), turn onto Jumpers Hole Road and continue past Severna Park Middle School. We are a short distance beyond it on the same side, at number 479. Coming from Millersville, Crownsville, or the I-97 side of the county, take Benfield Road toward Severna Park and turn onto Jumpers Hole Road. You will reach us before you get to Ritchie Highway.
We are on the second floor, in Suite #203. There is free parking in the lot, and no meters or garages to deal with. If you are running late because of traffic on Ritchie Highway, call us. We would rather adjust the schedule than have you rushing.
Families come to this office from Severna Park and from the surrounding Anne Arundel County communities of Millersville, Crownsville, Arnold, Severn, and Pasadena. We also serve families in Cape St. Claire. Patients here routinely drive past closer general dentists to see a specialist, and we do not think that is unusual in this market.
If you are coming from outside Severna Park, Jumpers Hole Road and Benfield Road are the two roads worth knowing. Both connect the office to the I-97 corridor without putting you on Ritchie Highway at rush hour.
